Smart: Editor
Smart Editor is a bundle of 14 tools for Unity 6. It helps you build levels, organize your hierarchy, and edit scenes faster.
Tools Included:
1. Mesh Modifiers Apply non-destructive modifiers directly to meshes in your scene: Lattice (FFD), Curve Deform, Array, Weld, Twist, Jitter, and Subdivide. You can bake the results permanently or to Blend Shapes.
2. Brush Scatterer Paint objects like trees or rocks directly onto terrain and meshes using a brush.
3. PropThrow Scatter objects using real-time physics. Throw props into the scene, let them settle naturally, and save their final positions.
4. SnapAlign Snap and align objects by connecting their vertices or faces.
5. Pivot Mover Move and bake the pivot point of any 3D mesh directly in Unity.
6. PieMenu A circular menu for the Scene View. Access tools quickly and record your own custom macros to automate repetitive actions.
7. SceneCamera Save and restore camera views in the Scene View without creating Camera objects.
8. SceneNote Leave text notes and to-do lists physically inside the 3D scene.
9. SmartHierarchy Organize your Hierarchy using folder objects, custom colors, and sorting rules.
10. Smart Mass Replacer Replace multiple prefabs, meshes, or materials across the scene at once.
11. SmartSelector Select objects based on specific criteria like tags, layers, bounding boxes, or missing components.
12. Missing Asset Detective Find and fix broken references, missing scripts, and missing materials in your project.
13. Quick Batch Rename Rename multiple GameObjects or files at once using search & replace, prefixes, suffixes, or numbering.
14. WeightPainterRG Paint vertex weights on your models directly in the Unity Editor.

It's a good mix of both organization, and level building tools. Organization is very important, it's the structure of your project. The building tools are quite capable and have nice extras that make level building process just flow easier. Nice!
This is exactly the kind of toolset I wish more people building for Unity actually understood the point of. The bottleneck for an environment artist was never the modeling or the composition — it's everything around it. The constant context-switching: stopping to untangle a messy hierarchy, chasing down a broken reference, renaming the same batch for the tenth time, fighting placement by hand. Each one is small on its own, but together they quietly eat the day and pull you out of the headspace where the actual art happens.
What I really appreciate here is that it keeps me inside the Scene View, which is where I want to be. The whole philosophy feels like "let the artist stay an artist" — hand the repetitive, organizational housekeeping over to the tool and keep your head on mood, layout and the feel of the space. And when a toolset does its job right, you almost forget it's there; you just notice the friction is gone and you're moving faster without thinking about it.
As someone who writes a fair amount of my own editor tooling, I know how much care it takes to get this feel right — fast, non-destructive, out of the way, instead of another layer of menus to fight. This nails it. In practice it means the overwhelming majority of my energy goes straight into the art and only a sliver into the plumbing, which is the entire point. Really solid work.
Just got this bundle and it's honestly packed with useful editor tools. Especially the smart hierarchy and quick batch renamer is a huge workflow improvement. Looking forward to use the other features too in my Unity projects. Thanks for creating such a comprehensive toolkit!
